Kane County. Garfield County. Muley Twist Canyon in the southern part of Capitol Reef National Park is so named because the lower part of the canyon is so narrow and crooked that pack mules had to twist and turn to get through. The upper part of the canyon is much wider and can be driven by a 4WD vehicle as far as Strike Valley Overlook some 2 ½ miles. Further on, past the well known Saddle Arch, there are a number of natural arches including this one about ½ miles past Dome Arch high on the west side of the canyon.

It has a span of 20 ft and a height of 10 ft.
