This small but attractive arch is one of the main attractions at Gamlahamn. Gamlahamn used to be a medieval harbour before sea storms blocked the entrance creating a tranquil lagoon. The arch has many other names such as The Dog as its likeness when viewed from an angle. Gamlahamn is on the west part of the small northern island of Faro. The island is a short free car ferry ride from the main island. The arch has a span of about 4 ft and a height of about 6 ft.
