Orkney – Isle of Stronsay. The Vat of Kirbister (also known as Kirbuster) is the most spectacular arch on Orkney. It was formed by the collapse of the roof of a large sea cave.

Close to the arch is sea stack called Malme that has the remains of an early Christian hermitage.

The arch has a span of about 35 ft and a height of about 66 ft.
