Wolfe County. The Red River Gorge, an intricate canyon system of the Red River in east central Kentucky, has been designated a National Natural Landmark. Most of the George is located inside the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are more than 100 natural arches and bridges in the area.
This double arch is one of the smaller arches. They are close to Whistling Arch.
The larger opening has a span of 7 ft and a height of 7 ft. The smaller one (not shown) has a span of 4 ft and a height of 5 ft.
