Grosser Lochstein

Northern Bavaria -Fränkische Schweiz. To the south of the town of Horlach near to the village of Pegnitz is the Veldensteiner Forest Park. Here there are three arches, Grosser Lochstein, or large hole in rock, is the first of these arches. The park has a series of roads that are for cyclists only as the only motorised transport allowed are park vehicles. To get to all the arches it means an easy round trip of about 6 miles.

Grosser Lochstein has a span of 18 ft and a height of 10 ft.
