Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. This very large arch is about 59 miles north west of Fada. Note the person under the arch for scale.
It has a span of about 17 ft and a height of about 127 ft.
