Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. This large arch is located in the Tokou area which is about 33 miles south of Fada. Note the person in the arch for scale.

It has a span of about 24 ft and a height of 119 ft.
