Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. This arch, which is also called Elephant Arch II, is in the Bashekele area and is only about a couple of miles south east of The Arch of Bashekele.

It has a span of 20 ft and a height of 94 ft.
