Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. Cero Arch is a spectacular freestanding arch and is named after the area in which it is located and is about 31 miles south of Fada.
The arch has a span of 34 ft and a height of 30 ft.
