Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Achiwili is an area of spectacular contorted rock spires and pinnacles about 17 miles south west of Fada. This is one of the many arches in the area.
The top opening has a span of about 5 ft and a height of about 17 ft whilst the bottom opening has a span of about 10 ft and a height of about 12 ft.
