Aglen Natural Bridge

Lukovit Municipality, Lovech Province.  This very attractive natural bridge spans the Vit River to the south of Aglen Village near where the current road bridge crosses the river. After crossing the bridge take the small road through the village that parallels the river and drive a short distance to a weathered worn sign in Cyrillic that indicates, I assume, the arch. Park here and follow the sign to the river. At this point you will standing on top of the natural bridge. To get a good view you need to retrace your steps and look for a small opening in the ground that leads into a small cave where you can easily make your way down to the river.

The bridge has a span of about 26 ft and a height of about 17 ft.
