Ranks 95. Fiery Furnace Area. The Fiery Furnace is an area of complex and confusing passages winding around high sandstone walls. It is easy to find yourself lost and disoriented. The park service restricts the number of daily visitors and requires them to watch a video before entering the area. Most people take special ranger led tours. Although this arch is not normally included on the ranger tours sometimes they may take a small party to visit it. It requires a climb to reach it.
